The College Department

Bold. Emerging. Resolute.

The College Department at Unida Christian Colleges is the third stage following the completion of secondary education. It answers to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the Philippines, and offers specialized education in a specific field.

The College Department began its operations in 2003 with the offering of a two-year ladderized Associate in Computer Technology (ACT) program (Government Recognition 093, series 2003). Through the years, additional programs were added: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Government Recognition 061, series of 2006), Bachelor of Secondary Education (Government Recognition 060, series of 2006), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Government Recognition 016, series of 2007), Bachelor of Elementary Education (Government Recognition 021, series of 2011).

Mission
The College Department shall provide professional, technical, advanced, and specialized training in the fields of teacher education, business and entrepreneurship, computer technology, arts and humanities, and other related disciplines.

Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English
Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics (by AY 2024-2025)
Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies (by AY 2024-2025)
Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Values (by AY 2024-2025)
Certificate in Teaching Program (18 units)
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Operations Management
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in  Human Resource Management
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Associate in Computer Technology with Specialization in Multimedia Arts

Programs' Desired Outcomes

1. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specified field of practice (based on Philippine Qualifications Framework, Level 6 Descriptor)
2. Effectively communicate in English and Filipino, both orally and in writing
3. Work effectively and collaboratively with a substantial degree of independence in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
4. Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility
5. Preserve and promote the Filipino historical and cultural heritage (RA 7722).

By AY 2024-2025, the College Department will offer the following degree programs:

Bachelor Science in Computer Science 6:00-9:00, Mondays to Fridays both online and onsite
