Cultural and Academic Exchange Programs
Unida Christian Colleges (UCC) has been actively fostering global connections through its Academic and Cultural Exchange Programs. Our dedicated teachers and students have engaged in transformative experiences that transcend borders.
UCC initiated its Academic and Cultural Exchange Programs three years ago, involving our Junior High Students through an invitation from our Indian partner. The Indo-Philippines program, spanning three months, is a vibrant fusion of language exchange, cultural immersion, and academic pursuits. Its inaugural year witnessed resounding success, garnering recognition when it was featured in The Times of India, the largest-selling English-language daily in the world.
During this period, we also embarked on a collaborative journey with the Global Student Council, partnering with elementary students from the UK and other European schools. This cross-cultural engagement provided invaluable insights into the multifaceted roles of student government bodies, fostering collaboration across borders. In the second year, our participation in the global student council continued, with students showcasing global collaborative projects and sharing local best practices, including sustainable development initiatives at the school level. This year, we proudly host additional exchange programs: the China-Philippines and the Philippines-Indonesia programs for elementary students, the Indo-Philippines program for Junior High students, and the Taiwan-Philippines program for Senior High School students. These endeavors exemplify our commitment to fostering international understanding and enriching educational experiences both for our students and teachers.
